Full Scope Strategy and Design Package
The full engagement! We start with a comprehensive audit and research, and you get a detailed strategy report with all the findings. Then we build a design based directly on that strategy. Small businesses have always been my people
I've been designing websites for small businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations since 2011. I’ve also had a career as a UX designer and researcher in the finance and tech sectors, where I worked for numerous Fortune 500 companies. I started SKOKAI Designs because I believe small businesses and nonprofits deserve the same rigorous research and high-level strategic thinking I brought to my high-powered UX jobs, without the boutique price tag or pretension.
I've spent my entire career making complicated things easy to understand.
I've worked across a wide range of contexts, formats, and industries, but my focus has always been the same: how can I help real people find what they need, make sense of it, and confidently make decisions.
I approach design as both a craft and an act of service. Success isn't just looking good in a screenshot; it's solving real problems for your business and the people it serves.
How the Web Design Process Works
You're the expert on your business. I'm an expert on strategic design. My process is built around a collaboration between the two to create a site that truly reflects you and serves your customers.

Intro Call
A free 30-minute call to get acquainted. You tell me what's going on with your site and what you're hoping to change, and I walk you through the different packages and how they might apply. No pitch, no pressure. Just a conversation to see if we're the right fit for each other.

Discovery Session
If we decide to move forward, we go deep in this session to understand who you are, who your customers are, what's working, what isn't, and what your dream version of this looks like. Everything I learn here becomes the foundation that the rest of the project gets built on.

Strategy
Before any design work starts, I dig into your current site, research your competitive landscape, and surface opportunities I see. It all goes into a Strategy Report: a full picture of where things stand and a proposed structure for the new site. We'll review that together before anything moves forward.

Design Direction
This is where we figure out what the site will look and feel like. I put together a few different visual directions and we go through them live. Once we land on a direction, I refine it into a final concept for your sign-off before building begins.

Build and Launch
With strategy and direction locked in, I build the site. You'll be hands-on during this phase: reviewing pages, providing feedback, and making sure everything feels right. At the end, we do a full walkthrough together, you make your final payment, and the site is yours.

Post Launch
After launch, you'll have dedicated support for the first week plus check-ins at 30, 90, and 180 days to ensure the site is working for you.

I started this studio because I want to elevate businesses’ digital experience so that they match the impact these businesses have in our communities.
